HTTP 414 – URI Too Long
The URL requested by the client is longer than the server is willing to interpret.
Common use case
Triggered when a GET request encodes too much data in the query string, e.g. a search form that should have used POST instead.

Different servers and browsers enforce wildly different URL length limits - Internet Explorer's historic ~2,083 character cap is the most infamous.
